Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2026 Dates and Festive Details

The holiday season is just around the corner at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, which means sleigh bells are jingling and the countdown to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has officially begun!

And recently, Disney has just shared everything you need to know to help you start preparing for this year’s celebration.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event that celebrates the most wonderful time of the year at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. And once again, you’ll enjoy festive entertainment, overlays on classic rides, a storybook holiday atmosphere, and sweet treats.

The 2026 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates will run on select nights from Sunday, November 8 to Tuesday, December 22. Here is the complete party schedule:

November: 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27, 29
December: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22

Here’s a pro tip: You can begin your holiday cheer early! As a Very Merry Christmas Party Guest, you can enter the park as early as 4:00 p.m. Even though the party officially starts at 7:00 p.m., you have the option of arriving three hours earlier to kickstart your time in Magic Kingdom. (Here’s another tip: if you do arrive early, plan your evening so that you’re in the back of the park as the Party gets started to avoid the influx of Guests just arriving)

Get your calendar ready because the special event tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will become available on July 9 for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. For all other guests, tickets will be available starting July 16. Special prices are available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Character Greetings

Find yuletide cheer around every corner with some of your favorite Disney pals! There will be exclusive opportunities to greet Disney character friends during the party.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the characters you’ll find at the party:

Princess Fairytale Hall: Anna and Elsa
Town Square Theater: Jack Skellington as Santa and Sally

But that’s just the beginning, more meet and greets will be announced as party dates draw near!

Meet Santa at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

It’s the perfect time to meet Santa at Santa’s Christmas Carnival! Get your holiday wish list ready and head on over to Storybook Circus to visit your favorite friend from the North Pole.

Located near Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer, this is the perfect stop for young families. In addition to meeting Santa, you can also participate in crafts and meet other friends bursting with Christmas cheer.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade

For an enchanting parade that embodies the spirit of the holidays, look no further than Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade. This mesmerizing performance includes dancing gingerbread men, whimsical ballroom dancers, beloved marching toy soldiers, and upbeat holiday music and scents that will immediately put you in the festive spirit.

Get swept away by the magic of Christmas and see many Disney characters dressed in their holiday attire before the parade concludes with a special appearance by Santa Claus as he wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and happy New Year.

Reminder: Since the parade travels from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A., there are a ton of great viewing locations for guests throughout the park.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks

Hosted by Minnie Mouse, this nighttime spectacular combines beloved holiday classics — such as “Deck the Halls” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” — with stunning pyrotechnics, castle projections, and lighting effects.

Cinderella Castle will be wrapped like a present in vibrant holiday scenes; all synchronized perfectly with the music and fireworks above. Gather the elves in front of the castle to view the projections or watch the fireworks display from a variety of vantage points throughout Magic Kingdom, with great views available in areas like Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.

You can also enjoy the fireworks with the returning Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Parties. These separately priced experiences include an abundance of treats that will sweeten your night and incredible views of the fireworks. Reservation details will be coming soon.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

During this energetic performance on the Cinderella Castle stage, Disney friends remind us why it’s the happiest season of all. You’ll find your feet tapping along to the medley of joyful tunes as live performers and characters like Clarabelle Cow, Daisy Duck, and Woody from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story films make appearances throughout the show.

Frozen Holiday Surprise

Debuting in 2023 at Magic Kingdom Park, “Frozen” friends from Arendelle are conjuring up something remarkable for the holidays. The new Frozen Holiday Surprise brings together Olaf and more than 100 of his Snowgie siblings who attempt to add festive decor to Cinderella Castle. With Anna and Kristoff at her side, Queen Elsa adds sparkling finishing touches, transforming the castle into a shimmering crystallized palace – a look that will remain each evening throughout the holidays. You’re invited to ring in the season with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the snowgies at Cinderella Castle as it transforms into a frozen wonderland during Frozen Holiday Surprise.

The dazzling entertainment doesn’t stop there. Show off your jingle bell rock moves as you dance the night away with holiday friends and event DJs in different locations throughout the park.

Rides Available at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Get ready for a few twists on some of your favorite rides at Magic Kingdom with holiday-themed makeovers on Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Mad Tea Party, Jungle Cruise, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.

In addition to the above, here are just a few of the classic attractions that will also be available for guests during the party:

Pirates of the Caribbean
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Haunted Mansion
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
And more!

Sweet Treats and More to Unwrap

The magical offerings don’t stop there. Once again, a variety of cookies, festive beverages, and more will be handed out at select locations throughout Magic Kingdom. These are included in the cost of your ticket and are the perfect holiday treat as you take in the seasonal sights. Locations for these treats will be listed on the holiday party maps found at the front entrance of Magic Kingdom and on the My Disney Experience App.

More details will be coming soon, but one thing’s for certain – it’s beginning to look like (a Very Merry) Christmas!
