Star Wars-Themed Lands Set to Open in 2019:
Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger made an announcement during last week’s Walt Disney Company Q1 FY17 Earnings call indicating Star Wars-themed lands at Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be opening in 2019! The Star Wars-themed lands are the largest-ever, single-themed land expansions at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. At each location, guests will be transported to a never-before-seen planet – a remote trading port and one of the last stops before wild space – where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life.

Doc McStuffins to Greet Fans at Disney’s Animal Kingdom:

Starting later this month, guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom will now have the chance to see the beloved star from Disney Junior’s hit animated series “Doc McStuffins.” The popular toy doctor will make daily visits to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to meet with guests and sign autographs. With her handy stethoscope in hand, she’ll stop by every day just outside the veterinarian clinic at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
